Official Artist Channels are designed to help artists and their teams get the most out of YouTube. Upgrade your channel today to gain access to analytics and tools that will help you engage with millions of fans and better manage your presence on the platform.

Requirements:

  • A YouTube channel that you manage
    It doesn't have to be the same email you use for YPBB Music. Just a YouTube account you control.

  • A YouTube channel primarily features music from this artist
    Don't pick the channel for your label, or a channel dedicated to a genre of music, etc.

Please complete the fields below so that we can request an OAC upgrade for you.


We will submit eligible requests within a few weeks, but please note that the upgrade itself can take up to a few months. These times vary depending on demand.


Please be aware that when we receive submissions for the same channel, the newest submission will overwrite any previous pending submissions. Previous duplicate submissions will not be reviewed.

Please note that your artist name on the automatically generated topic channel and the owned and operated channel must be identical.

This should be the URL of your self-created 'owned and operated' YouTube channel. This channel will need to contain at least one official music video and must only contain content from that artist - channels which curate other artist's music (i.e. remixes) or multi-artist channels are not eligible for an OAC upgrade.

This should be the channel ID related to the above channel URL. An example of a channel ID would be: UC_hdgMhSGrIIpiUk0wJixxQ

This should be a link to an official music video uploaded to your artist channel.

This must be the URL of your artist's automatically generated topic channel and cannot be a 'Release - Topic' channel. Your topic channel needs to contain at least one release distributed via YPBB Music.

Please include a link to one of your topic video URLs. You'll need to ensure that this video has been distributed via RouteNote. We will not be able to request OAC upgrades if at least one topic video has not been distributed through YPBB Music.

Please let us know the UPC of the release which matches the topic video you've provided above. Your UPC can be found just under the release title within your YPBB Music discography.
